Ron and Barb Stafford

Some of Barb's plants

wild Delphinium

wildflowers

We left Seattle and drove 2 days to get to Bozeman Montana where we visited Norm's brother Ronnie and his wife Barbara. We camped overnight along the way in a free rv campground just over the border in Montana. When we got to Ron's we talked and talked, enjoyed their horses, CT, Dezi, Lucy, Jet, and Halley and their red golden dog, Sadie. And their 2 cats Riley and Petie. We had a nice dinner in their home and Barbara showed us her collection of Begonias. Amazing.

The next day we hiked Spanish Creek and drove up to Squaw Creek to get Churt (rock used by the Indians for Arrowheads). We went on Ted Turner's 140,000 acre ranch! See the photos. We saw Elk, Deer, Bluebirds, and the Buffalo were right next to our car. Ron is a great guide.
Their horses graze in the yard for some time during the day.

Looks like we sat a lot- but we were outdoors most of the time..hiking, walking, etc.

Watercolor I did of Sadie. What a sweet dog.
