Bryce National Park

Wow. We were impressed! the overlooks with huge sandcastles and tall totems all in glorious tans, yellows, golds, terra cotta and reds. Unbelievable. I saw it years ago- and never tire of seeing our country and all it's beauty!

Manzanita Bush

Norm could do most of the walks even in his cardiac rehab stage.

We saw beautiful blue and black birds- Steller's Jay. And Manzanita bushes with flowering berries. Pines with tons of strong needles and of course pine cones.

Thee caves made it look like windows, and doorways.

On To Utah

After hooking the camper back up and getting packed up, we headed north on 89 to Utah. The landscape started to change to be more green. The mountains were chalk white and gold at first. Then they changed into a beautiful purple and red crimson with rust accents.  We saw orange wildflowers along the way.

Love that the dogs sleep in the truck!

Antelope Canyon

Last night we had a great Mexican dinner in Page, AZ. Then this morning we went to get on the Navaho Tour of the Antelope Canyon. We took an open jeep ride for 3 1/2 miles on red dirt. It was very bumpy and windy and dusty. We entered the canyon with our Navaho guide, Charleston, and proceeded into narrow and deep walkways. As we went you could only see the sky through small openings. The light came in and bounced all over the sand strewn walls. Beautiful and really unbelievable . The photos we took only show some of the beauty and color. A trip not to miss.

Lake Powell

After the Awesome glory of the Grand Canyon we enjoyed a rest when we drove 4 hours north to Lake Powell. The sun was just going down and the  light was beautiful- a campground right on the lake. What a life!
