The Grand Canyon

We got up really early and headed for the Grand Canyon. We walked most of the South Rim and took the shuttle back. The photos we took were very numerous. I selected some for our Blog but WOW the Grand Canyon still impresses you even if you've seen it before. Amazingly deep and amazingly wide. Cliffs, river, trees, canyons! Enjoy the photos. Takes your breathe away!

Phoenix and Sedona

We are picking up Barbara Porter at the airport. She is joining us for a few days.
We drove to Sedona and had dinner at the Cowboy Cafe. Then we did some shopping in town. Barbara loves the Red Rocks and cactus she saw here. Love Sedona.

Norm and I remembered seeing this church before

Apache Junction AZ

Golf in Tucson- Then to Senoita

Norm and I had a fun morning playing golf. What a beautiful course and great weather. 85 degrees but breezy. Fun.

We saw roadrunners, quail and woodpeckers. Oh and prairie dogs that came right up to us.

The scenery changes when you head towards Senoita. Rolling hills

More Grasses; fewer cactus

Thistle Flowers

This is Arizona? Feels like Montana.

Border Patrol

Love this view. The red flowers were all over. Ocachia.

We drove on this dirt road just for fun.

Beautiful Ocotillo

Drove down a road to go to this Winery. They were closed. :{
